Rigid boxes start at 250 units on a stock size and 500 on a bespoke one, because every new size needs its own cutting tool. Sampling has no minimum — we will make one box before you commit to anything.
A rigid box is a greyboard shell wrapped in a separately printed sheet, so it carries more material and an extra assembly stage. Expect roughly three to five times a folding carton of the same footprint — and a shelf presence a carton cannot reach.
No. Structural design, dielines and the first physical prototype are free on every project, with no obligation to order. You only pay once you approve a quote and a sample.
Twenty to twenty-five working days from artwork sign-off. Rigid runs longer than folded packaging because the shell is built and wrapped as its own stage. Repeat orders skip tooling and sampling, and usually ship in twelve to fifteen.
Yes. We print Pantone spot colours as well as CMYK on the wrap, and send a printed draw-down for sign-off before the run.
Hidden magnets, ribbon pulls, elastic closures and rare-earth catches on the shell; foam, EVA, moulded pulp, folded card and thermoformed trays inside it.
Print-ready PDF, AI or EPS with fonts outlined and 3mm bleed, laid out on the wrap dieline we supply.
The greyboard shell and wrap are both recyclable, but some specifications are not kerbside-ready — soft-touch lamination, magnets and ribbon all have to be separated first.
